Future Brand Engagement

This presentation explores how the rise of  the elusive consumer is forcing brands to engage with people in a more interactive, immersive and intimate way.

Changes in the media landscape and in consumer attitudes are making it harder for brands to connect with consumers. The online  landscape is fragmenting as people look for specific platforms to meet their various needs. This is leading to people being more dispersed online. Secondly, consumers are spending more  time shielded away from brands as they protect their identity online and move to walled ecosystems such as the Apple or Amazon ecosystem. Finally, consumers are underwhelmed with brands and their efforts to engage with them.

In this fragmented landscape where the consumer is in the driving seat,  brands need to shift from push to pull marketing strategies to connect with people.

In this presentation, we explore how brands are making the shift from push to pull marketing by focusing on becoming more interactive, immersive and intimate.
